Thought he did really well when he came on yesterday and has possibly given himself a life line at the club.
Looked bright and confident and slotted into the pace of the game straight away.

Apart from Dunnny, who was injured most of the time for us, and miraculously recovered on his return to his native Lancashire and played several good seasons for Blackburn I don't recall any of them that were top class and that spans the period from Alex Harley to Jota.
Heskey was okay and Muzzy Izett was another who was badly injured, although I am not sure that he was a record signing.
I have probably forgotten someone who was brilliant.

chance to have a nice rest and charge up for the promotion campaign.
Really needs looking at most teams have just played about 7 or 8 games in about 21 days and now the next 21 days Blues have 2 games very uneven
Birmingham City filed their accounts at Companies House on Friday, with figures making for grim reading for fans. Andy
You mention Portsmouth as an example to follow, but the key difference between us and them is that they completely changed their ownership model and until we do that we might as well strap ourselves in and enjoy the road, like lots of other clubs who have found themselves in our position, the situation can change for the better overnight as our neighbours proved.

Saw a few of these in the away end yesterday. Never thought I would see the day from Blues fans.
Not only is it embarrasing they were mixing up our colours with claret and blue. Wrong on every level.

That underpass did look like a recipe for disaster tbf. There were enough old bill there to stop that happening as well
What a shambles. Actively forcing every Blues fan beneath an underpass swarming with cockney yobs. Like lambs to the slaughter.
The problem with football policing at its worst, is that it treats every one of us like a stone island wearing mouth breather. I just want to get home!
I’ve been watching Blues 35 years, for me it was Barry Ferguson.
We also got Robbie Savage’s best years.
I loved Kenny Cunningham too.
No doubts in my sixty years of watching Blues. KEN LEEK, centre forward. Signed in 1961 for £23,000 pounds he scored 49 goals in 103 league matches plus two in the home leg of the League Cup win against the Vile in 1963.
Had pace, agility, could shoot hard from outside and inside the box and magnificent in the air. Not surprising in view of his name he was a Welsh international.
Prolific goal scorer wherever he went.
And yet he was slightly built unlike most centre forwards that we have had since... Читать дальше...

Harry Trueman once said, “There are lies damn lies and statistics”and it is sometimes difficult to. get to the right facts or statistics.
In answer to your facts and my contention that Jota has form I would point out the following which is mostly derived from wiki, to which I subscribe and contribute and I know how hard they try, as volunteers, to get their content correct.
Celta Vigo
After his contract expired at Celta Vigo they opened talks with Jota's father, who acted as his representative... Читать дальше...
Whitecaps STH here (and former Blues STH - late 90s).
We didn’t see a lot of Mutch last season as he was always injured when he did play he showed some quality on the ball, but never had a good run in the side. He was only here as Palace payed most of his wages so getting a quality player on the cheap seemed like a good plan when he signed.
Not sure using our one remaining signing on a player made of glass would be the best idea

Tweet from Neil Moxley about how Villa might get around FFP. Obviously to sell Grealish assuming anybody wants him.
But also a bit about how HS2 cuts through Bodymoor which means they're automatically entitled to a bit of compo from the Government. So there might be a blind eye turned if they sell the facility - to one of the owners property companies for a vastly inflated price which would be classed as income.
They'll find a way. They always do.
