A lot has been said about the poor reffing standards in recent weeks, but I have to say, yesterday's referee had a great game.
He tried to let the game flow and didn't mind full blooded (but fair) tackles.
The ref from Tuesday night would have blown the pea out of his whistle and booked the whole of both teams by half time yesterday.
I really enjoyed the game. I know, I know, I'm an old duffer who hasn't moved with the times, but I love physical (but skillful) games, and yesterday was one of those. Читать дальше...

I think Benalouane is a bit hard done by. Just rewatched the highlights and for the pen surely it is a stonewaller on Vassell before the handball?
Now Benalouane is going to get a 3 match ban when surely it should have just been a pen for the initial foul on Vassell?
I would be annoyed if it had happened to a blues defender, just think it is another example of the iffy refereeing in this division.
