Blues’ Ellen White scored a fabulous goal in England’s win v Brazil tonight. A great technical finish, reminiscent of Chele. How great to have two players who are such prolific scorers.

Drive past on the Evesham Road this evening. Had the signposts out saying the road will be closed 12th - 15th March. Cheltenham is on the horizon all.

I love the commitment of the whole team, especially Howard Gayle and Robert Hopkins. Just look at the gaps on those terraces though. Just three weeks after we had 40k there in the Watford cup game, this crowd was a little over half that figure for a derby game. The steep decline in attendances and fortunes was just beginning to set in. Even the fact that vile had shirt sponsors whilst we didn't was indicative of how they had more money in those days.
