We applauded the heroes onto the St Andrews pitch, then watched Blues lose 3-1 at home to West Brom. At the time we forgave the players after the previous week's miracle.
But that defeat showed that we were still vulnerable and still not safe whereas a win would have surely kick-started a decent end to the season.
