Getting banned from football (9 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Does anyone know anyone who has been banned from a ground or football in general and if so did it work.

When I worked in Cheltenham a few years ago I knew a Bristol city fan who was banned but still went to every game.

The 128th Second City Derby has been one of controversy. While the result saw Blues suffer defeat to their hated rivals and ensure the long run without a league win in this fixture goes on, an incident at the ground has further marred the fixture and has caused all manner of hot takes on the interne

Even yesterday, I didn't for a moment suffer from any shame about being a Blues fan. I'm proud of it, and always have been. Always will be, I'm sure. Over the past few years, there's a been a ramping up of 'toxicity' at football matches and toxicity surrounding football matches. Social media probably hasn't helped that either, because idiots can get their messages across far too easily and incite hatred and reprisals.

There are always fools about who will just go one stage further, maybe... Читать дальше...

Before I say what I want to say about yesterday, I've always tried to be balanced and honest when I have written my blogs. I appreciate that not everyone agrees but that's fine, that's the point of a blog - to facilitate discussion. Yesterday caused emotion to rise in both Read More

Now we’re hated and on the verge of punishment... (7 replies)

Do we have to behave at Preston away and call off the protest outside the EFL HQ?

Or do we just double down, know we’re gonna be punished anyway, tell them to add the defucted pts to the tab and go to the EFL as planned?

Just caught up with last nights show. Apparently he thinks we should get a points deduction. Talk about over reacting.

With this and the other points deduction the whole of the world want us to have we could be on minus points soon.

It’s idiots like him mouthing off that fuel the actions of the other idiot that slapped Grealish. Get a grip Alan ffs

No. Different scenario. Gervais plays a journalist for a small town freebie newspaper, who’s struggling to come to terms with the loss of his wife.

Re: Best derby in the world though isn't it?

The football on display was pretty poor and the atmosphere wasnt great. As a club we were publically dragged through the mud because of the mindless actions of a yob. We are now universally loathed. I can't think of anything positive to say about yesterday's derby. Best in the world? I doubt that anyone outside of Birmingham would agree. And after yesterday I don't agree either.

Best derby in the world though isn't it?

????

We'll be laughing about all this in a few months. No one has died or was seriously hurt. The hysteria, subsequent media witch hunt and final result is so Blues.

It's a shame we keep losing, but i wouldn't change this derby game for the world.

I hope it doesn't turn into a tame Norwich vs Ipswich affair.
