It's just inconceivable isn't it after this season? Chasing the playoffs and running out of steam as most expected.

Saying that, if strongly rumoured we're hit with a 12 point deduction we could 2 points off the drop zone- or even in it come this weekend.

Wouldn’t agree we lacked effort, we were tactically outdone by another limited yet well drilled side. At times it looked like we only had 9 players cause we just couldn’t find the right pass.

Can’t recall once a ball down the channels to either Vass or Che so we could turn the back 4. Tactics wrong tonight unfortunately.

That first half performance was clearly the worse I've seen at home this season. It made the 250 mile round trip back to South Wales a lot longer than usual. I can accept losing but I can't accept a lack of effort from the players which is exactly what we had. The thing that worried me the most is that they looked as though they couldn't care less. I've just got home about 1am and the players will be tucked up in bed taking their £20000 per week salary as normal. They really need to look at themselves... Читать дальше...

FWIW, the young black lad with the flag on the main stand side had another very good game tonight, we've had him at Stans on a number of occasions & I honestly cannot remember him having a bad game.

When the opposition can bring on someone with McGinn’s ability and movement to change a game (and much as it pains me to say it, he absolutely did) and our only replacement is Craig Gardner I’m not sure you can blame the manager.

Of course Monk’s neither faultless or exempt from criticism but ultimately the players aren’t good enough and the cupboards are bare.

....is where I feel our real issues lie. First half of the season Kief & Gary seemed to work as a great pair, but now it's as if the team are playing with two holding midfielders with Gary running out of steam; he used to make plenty of forward progressive passes and look to get into the box, but does not do this anymore. Craig offers this but we all know his legs won't last a full game and we're constantly wondering when his next rash tackle is coming to get sent off! Not seen this specifically mentioned and not going to trawl through the match thread but why the hell were they switched over tonight.

It is no coincidence that they were all over the shop for the two goals when Dean is normally on the left and Morrison on the right. Seems a really odd decision to swap the pair over.

They had definitely switched on Sunday as well as tonight. Makes little sense, Morrison whilst being a great leader can barely kick it properly with his right foot let alone his left which resulted in aimless passing around the back in the first half today.

I do like harlee dean and think he has had a good season but mistakes have crept into his game within the last few months and his desire to aimlessly bring the ball forward is so frustrating. He just doesn’t have the ability to do... Читать дальше...
