Re: Eden Hazard

Small Heath Alliance

Well, if we go by the last two seasons (as long as Salah has been at liverpool), Hazard has 19 and Salah has 18.

Hazard also has 28 goals to Salah's 44.

In that time Hazard has played 71 games to Salah's 74.

Premier league only.

You'd think we could agree a deal to pay him off

He gets a decent chuck of the last 12 months of his contract from us and finds another club for the season, he ends up earning more and playing football

He doesn't want to though... amongst other things he wanted a long contract when he left Brighton so that his daughter got continuity at school...
In less than 12 months he's going to need a new club anyway

Re: Groundshare

Small Heath Alliance

The EFL said the league had "reluctantly agreed" to the groundshare despite being placed in an "unenviable position" after previously suggesting Coventry needed to find a solution in their hometown.

Feck off you absolute chunts.

Looking at their attendances from last season, they will only need the Kop and Tilton Road ends, they average 11,900 for a home game.

Or, they could put away fans in the Main stand, Cov in the Kop?

Just posted in the Stockdale thread, but Stockdale/Grounds/Gardner are all expiring next summer.

Something to look forward to I suppose.

Any positive news

About our club would be appreciated. It's nothing but one bad news story after another.
Mayor I know it's not your fault, but if I read another of your pieces I'll be on suicide watch.

I must have missed the bit in the statement where Coventry City FC express their gratitude towards BCFC for enabling them to remain in existence.
Yeah, have to say I did expect some kind of gratitude for our help.

You DID miss it...

Re: Football Journalism

Small Heath Alliance

I subscribe to DK sports, a purely Pittsburgh based sports sub, they were the pioneers of the idea and basically The Athletic copied them, set up a Pittsburgh Athletic and took a few of their journalists. Difference between covering American sports and Blues, are that there are games every few days, i just couldn't imagine there'd be enough content for a solely blues site, plus american journalists have access to the changing room to interview players, etc, that just doesn't happen over here.
