No, but I’d be giving Seddon a go at least. I think both fullbacks have probably got too comfortable knowing they’re never going to be dropped.

A viler but fair play, what a fantastic player. Will be missed.

We need more creativity and pace

Watching the game a 2-4-3-1 may be the ideal in the long term

Misplaced Optimism (63 replies)

Sorry to be that guy but I’m struggling to see why there’s so much optimism about the upcoming season.

The key thing is we’ve got a good manager in place so I think we’ll improve on last season’s position but we’re still lacking in key areas.

George Friend is a downgrade on JCS, Clayton’s a downgrade on Bellingham. We’re stronger out wide and we’ll hopefully get a good goalkeeper and striker but Camp and Hogan weren’t exactly the key issues last season.

Just for a bit of interest I've had Blues,Newcastle,Plymouth and Barrow all to finish top half, no idea if these teams are any good just a bit of fun. I've had £20 with a Derby fan as well that we will finish above them. Anyone else had a flutter?

Not as one sided as you might think and if Barrow had a finisher they would be in front. Good to see David Dunn.

Same level as Cambridge so just hope we dont think its a stroll in the park.

Just noticed he’s gone to Chelsea for £80m or thereabouts.

His fans claim he can fill in at Cm, Cam, Rm and Cf. Think Chelsea will be pushing for top 3 this season.

It makes fat Franks life a lot easier when you can go out and sign top players.

...but did people see Bellingham's finish for the U21's last night? Youngest player & goalscorer record again.

Kids having a dream career, hope it lasts for him (and we get a massive sell on fee)...
