Player of the Season (21 replies)
Who's everyone picking?
For me, it's between Dean, Roberts, Sanchez and Jutkiewicz.
I'd probably say Dean personally.

Dean a clear winner for me.
Odin Bailey made a promising start under Pep and has been cutting his teeth in the lower leagues this season. Can he compete for a place next season? TCFC has his say

blues better side since the goal. No real chances though.
Villa seem to have the best couple of players on the pitch but not to much much else. Guess they are the highest paid.
Watching on Fa player the commentator talked for pretty well the 45 minutes. No co commentator. Seems like are not allowed a a gap nowadays. Oh for Hugh John’s.
A draw would be a decent result from here.

I think he reperesents so much that is good about football and life in general.

Interesting runner in the 5.20.
Won his point to point easily before winning his novice hurdle in a hack canter. Second run over hurdles he finished 2nd behind a well regarded Mullins horse who went on to finish 2nd behind the brilliant Bob Olinger at Cheltenham. His 3rd run was a bit disappointing to be honest, he was odds on and only finished 3rd. Im thinking the ground, which was pretty quick, and the distance didnt play to his strengths, back over 3 miles on ground that has softened a little he must be a player here. Читать дальше...

I have been getting adverts on the site showing Rishi Sunak with “relief for UK citizens” in big letters. Click on it and it’s a scam trying to get you to sign up to some
Bitcoin site which Mr Sunak apparently claimed to endorse. Just letting you know ????????
I refuse to answer on the basis that the second worst crime is boredom, the first is being a bore
Following on from the absolutely great jobs thread, there are a number of early retirees on here. While i'm not ready to hang my boots up yet, for tax reasons i do have to start planning my retirement. I'm concerned how i will fill my time if i did retire to stop me getting bored, so what does every do to prevent boredom setting is ?
Looks like the football right revenue bubble has burst. The clubs are concerned that the payout will fall, so want to roll over the current deal for another year.

I know they should create a new league with just the top clubs...

It was on the BBC Radio 4 Today programme at about 8.25am today celebrating his 60 years in football.
Promoted last night.
Pleased for them being Chelt based myself. Even more pleased we won't be playing them next season!
When my old man can't make a Blues game I often have along to Whaddon Rd to watch them. Unfortunately Chelt being a rugby town they just don't get the consistent support to really kick on.

Yes I know Kevin Phillips type is rare ... but we just have been a bit toothless up front and feel need another type.
Deeney would be good as imagine him and Juke up front would be a handful but know that is quite fanciful.
You have to hit it lucky ... fingers crossed
I woke up this morning with a totally random thought, why was it called blowing a raspberry when the fruit makes no noise and when did people start and stop doing it?
Do we know why Paco went back?
I missed the game last night, so didn't notice that it was the first Premier League game to feature a pause in which Muslim players were allowed to break their Ramadan fasts: [www.skysports.com]
I find it incredible that an athlete can spend all day without so much as a sip of water and then go out and compete at an elite level. I saw Rodgers subbed Fofana last week so he could break it and get some food/drink into him - great to see clubs organising the breaks though, well done to all involved.
