There have been so many deaths recently of stars that I grew up with, went to see and idolised with Evely Don and Nanci Griffith going in recent days. The sadness should only be temporary as one generation passes on the torch to another, but memories linger on.
One game that stuck in my memory was a 3-1 win against Ipswich on the opening day of the 1995-96 season under Barry Fry. I remember it because he made all his subs at the same time. Otto and Bowen scored and don’t think either started. Tait got the other one.
I presume there is likely to be a more recent example!

Only 6 of them players 30+ and only 4 of them are in the starting 11, I wouldn’t say that’s aging at all, the rest have a good 4 years+ left in them at championship level. Good mixture of experience and players in their primes.
Them homegrown players need to go though, I don’t feel like they are bringing anything to this squad and aren’t good enough at this level.
Been looking through our squad and thinking how some of our players aren't exactly spring chickens anymore.

I spotted a mention of this in the Times. It's an amazing free archive of bands performing on German TV. They never wiped the old tapes, unlike the BBC. There's the likes of Sabbath, Who, Hendrix etc. One for the old farts.

Will hopefully be very simple - give it Woods or Chong. And that's not belittling other players ability, but those 2 are so good with the ball and find a Blues shirt more often than not.
Sunjic did it very well yesterday and the back 3 passed short into midfield way more often than usual as well.
That midfield 3 is a very good Championship as well, all with styles that compliments the others. Sunjic as important as the other 2 imo. If any of those don't play we'll miss them massively. Читать дальше...
Yeah our form off the back of last season Is play off form. Barnsley did it last year so I think this what we should be aiming for. Once the players start believing we will have a chance. Our team is stronger them last year I believe our defence looks solid.all of this talk we ent ready is bull. Next year we will probably lose our best players so won't matter if we finish tenth.
