Some Lively Weather Forecast For Friday (17 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

For storm Eunice they're forecasting up to 100mph winds along the south coast and 70-80mph inland over England, for a sustained period of time during Friday daytime along with blizzard like conditions up North. BBC forecasting it to be the worst storm in decades.

Good luck mate! we were en route to Dublin (last flight from Brum before they closed the airport) on the day of the famous Michael Fish storm, where a fair few souls died across the UK.
I never ever want to go through another flight like that again - 2 attempts to land at Dublin aborted literally last second because of cross winds and downdraughts, some women were crying in fear on the plane - the final landing was really scary and the pilot said after he only landed as he had nowhere else to go. Check out my review of Birmingham City’s recent win over Barnsley. Including my take on the fan’s protest that took place.

Tait and Jose were my favourites, I had my hair like Tait

I’ve now got it like Chris Whyte ????????

Taity & Tom's podcast

Small Heath Alliance

Thanks for the feedback on Tom's podcast with me. Some good, some bad but it's truthful at least.
There will probably be a newspaper article in one of the national's shortly about what I got upto and what I'm doing now. As you are probably aware I'm in recovery and a lot of it relates to that, along with a few mad stories. It's a bit out there but once again truthful.
Any monies from it go straight to a local addiction charity who I'm an Ambassador for, and do fantastic work in our City. Читать дальше...

Another Car Insurance Query (6 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Our car got bumped last night, it was a couple of scratches, but the rear arch panel had to be clicked back in.

Unfortunately the side panel doesn’t sit right now.

The person who bumped the car pleaded with my wife to not go through the insurance and that they would sort it out.

Well we got a rough quote this morning and informed the person of the cost and potential cost if there is unseen damage at this moment of time.

The person wasn’t happy with the quote and said they can get it done cheaper... Читать дальше...

Any updates from anyone that may know anyone at blues on how he’s getting on?

Re: Blues song

Small Heath Alliance

First time poster catching up on old threads. This has fairly bought tears to my eyes.

I am rather long in the tooth and do not know this. But I have heard another version, sang in the Ozzie Owl Club at Hillsborough before the FA Cup Semi Final against Leeds.

It went something like;

We are the Brummie Blue Boys,
We come from St Andrews,
We've come to see the City win,
We never see them lose,
We have come up here today,
To clap and sing, and shout "hooray"... Читать дальше...

442’s annual list now has Jude as 1 teenager in World football and Jobe sneaking in at 50. Mark must be a very proud dad, that is some achievement.

I was on a Football Psychology course recently with Steve Sallis (Educating Football) who raved about Jude from his time working with him in the England U15s squad.

He said his intelligence and understanding compared to others he had worked with in the footballing world was right up with the best. He said he was very coachable and always willing to learn which was one of the big factors in the many European teams that were after him.

Sounds like a lot of that is down to the... Читать дальше...

My Blue Heaven

He was limited but old groundsy always gave 100% and made some decent contributions to a side that did ok.

His passing was pretty good too, especially down the channel

Re: Eddie Fewtrell

Small Heath Alliance

Met him around 1993. A mate was frequenting XL's every Saturday night for the Rock night they used to put on. Eddie used to be there every week, and my mate was wheelchair bound - Eddie befriended him. My mate introduced me.

Eddie seemed quite interested that I was a musician. We chatted lots about music. I asked him if he was a fan of 60's music, why on earth did he come to his own club for Rock night.... and perfectly timed, two blonde beauties in lingerie came up either side of himand kissed him on the cheek. Re: Anyone doing Wordle?

Small Heath Alliance

My sister asked me if I played wordle a couple of weeks ago: I said to her that I don't really play games that are massively popular, and like to find my own, more obscure games.
Fast forward to today and I'm on a 13 game winning streak on wordle and a seven game winning streak on nerdle ????
