Slightly pissed but watching this and thinking: which of the 1966 world cup winners would get into the England ladies team? Charlton brothers, Alan Ball and Banks I reckon, everyone else worse technically or fitness wise.

Blimey.
What a life though.
RIP.
He did some coaching with Blues last year when Michael Johnson came in and did a few sessions.
Bassist with the Happy Mondays
We need a new song to go along KRO and the few others. The Cardiff dance seems to have run it’s course.
We don’t want any generic Reading, derby, Wigan, c Palace rubbish or Alezz allezz which has been copied from Napoli.
Another song only we sing or perhaps one other team. Any ideas ?
Penny Arcade ( pinch from Glasgow rangers ) ?

up the football league we go
It's even more grating when they've just scored against us
I’m on record as being no fan of Hogan. I thought we were sold a pup, with very limited abilities. But.. this season I’ll be willing him to score with every touch. We need every goal we can get.
Just seen the last few mins of the ManUre game here in Oz.
Chong looked like the best player on the park.
Annoying really.

Yes, for the next season with their parent club or elsewhere. Not us.

He scored 5 goals for Charlton. Those are the only ones he’s scored in the championship in his career, for four clubs.
Every single team in the world who play 3 at the back play a winger as 1 of the wing backs. As long as they are on their correct side its fine. Wing backs provide width, not cut in like an attacking midfielder.
Of course you are.

I think there’s a player there somewhere. Would like to have seen us take him on. Better than Cosgrove but then that isn’t saying much.

I know there will still be a few transfers in and out but as we stand what is our best 11?
Going off the assumption we're playing a back 3 I will go with
Ruddy
Trusty
Roberts
Sanderson
Placheta
Bacuna
Woods
Gardner
Colin
Hogan
Deeney
That would leave out the likes of Dean, JJ, Juke, Gordon, Graham
Its been almost a week now since Laurence Bassini went on TalkSPORT to talk about buying Birmingham City, and I think Ive only just caught my breath from it. Ive said all along that Bassini is a fantasist who shouldnt be entertained when it comes to buying a football club, but even I didnt expect hi

Completely agree with this.
On the ownership side of things, i've accepted it. Things aren't going to change and I just want the club away from the charlatans. I feel powerless and i'm hoping someone can come up with something soon as I don't have any ideas other than protesting.
On the pitch, i'm hopeful of things.
A wage value doesnt always equate to talent value as we've seen with some of the players in recent years but we have enough about us to stay up, we just have to be committed. Читать дальше...
