Evening all, one for the oldies, does anyone remember a record shop on Hurst St, close to a cool clothes shop ( well cool for the time), my wife says it was Swordfish but im convinced it was called something else. Would have been where the Witherspoon pub is now i think.
Rockers is the one. I used to go there about 1980-84. Rockers wasn’t on Hurst Street at the same time as Diskery, or else I’d have tried that one too.
I had to be talked into going to Rockers in the first place, as I assumed it would be packed with Rush albums and the like. But it sold loads of punk. And posters too. I recall a clothing shop a few doors down from Rockers called Talavara?

As a kid I remember it in Manzoni Gardens, then a short while later it turned up at a second hand car lot 'King Kong Kar Ko'. My memory suggests that was on or around Ladypool Road, and I used to see it often as I grew up around there. I also had links to Camp Hill, so maybe it was there and the memory is somewhat hazy. Can anyone else recall where that car lot was?

Dont know much about Trusty but may have to play him LWB, Move colin into CB and play Graham RWB. We are then playing 3 players out of their natural positions. Not clever.

If, as has been reported, it is ORI that Richardson and Lopez have or are purchasing then there is nothing for BHSL to announce as there's no change to the share ownership of BHSL.
If, however, there is an agreement in place for the future sale of BHSL shares in BCFC then that would surely require an announcement to HKSE as that shareholding is their major asset.
In fairness 3/4 of the way through the month and 16 days after that update, I’d have thought they’d have announced a release date by now. Or better still for those who want it, unveiled the kit and be selling it. Once the season starts lots will have less disposable income.
