Surely you can just do a game thread for each world cup match.
If general blue doesn't start a thread about his new car that doesn't work and the insurance, road tax etc around it we can probably a put for at least 50 of the games new threads.

I really apologise if I’m being too harsh here.
But can anyone explain to me what this guy does as an England footballer, and how he starts ahead of Foden/anyone else that is competent to kick a football?
I appreciate you shouldn’t criticise a player after a big win, but I genuinely forgot he was playing.
He offers as much for England as Foden does, IMO. TBH, I thought he helped the others with his movement today, allowing Sterling a bit more freedom to flit about. A lot of play came from Sterling shifting to the centre and Mount covering him on the flank.
Welsh national anthem. Wish England had one as good. Plus it sings about the country not one person.

Jude’s performance against Iran was brilliant.
But I was trying to figure out if there were any flaws in his game (based on that game alone), and I could only see one small one.
He could be just a tad more dynamic in making himself available to others, for an easy pass. Sometimes he is just a bit slow to move a couple of yards one way or the other, so that there isn’t an opposition player in the way of that easier ball from a teammate.
