Help me out,Never been to either, me my Mrs, 9 year old and my dog, we want a short break.
Question is St Ives or Torquay?
I prefer the look of st Ives, my Mrs thinks Torquay will have more to do especially for my lad, I think St Ives will be more dog friendly with pubs etc.
Torquay slighlty cheaper and obviously nearer and the accommodation looks a bit better but I've always wanted to go to St Ives as it looks lovely.
Cant decide.
Please don't suggest Rhyl.
Ribeye
I'm looking at next week at St Ives Holiday Village but it's a silver standard chalet as the caravans are sold out. I'm not gonna lie, the chalet looks pretty shit and as much as I want to go st Ives it's putting me off. I can get a gold standard caravan in Torquay that's cheaper than the st Ives chalet. What I need is for someone to come on and say I've stopped there in a chalet and it's fine then my decision is made.

Certainly was a great afternoon. I do recall tailing off from the escort too early (I was living locally back then) and narrowly avoiding getting my head kicked in.
Not dead, I don't think??
In all the ex players mentioned on here I don't remember him coming up?
Not the greatest but I liked him in that mid eighties team.
What's he up to now, anyone know?
Good to see Eze in the squad. Shame March is injured as I think he's had a fantastic season and should be in ahead of maddison who has been very disappointing in recent months.
Just watched a clip of Forest fans singing it during the recent Man Utd match. Does anyone know its origins regarding it seemingly being the Forest anthem?
Now I do understand that this is all hypothetical with Wagner and co still awaiting for the approvals to be confirmed and for his team to be announced. That being said, It does look like Garry Cook is going to be involved somewhat due to his appearance with Wagner.
I want to point out I am not a pessimist, I do truly hope that this deal gets the green light ASAP and as a club we can once again be optimistic for the future of BCFC.
The major issue I have with Cook is his level... Читать дальше...
Wagner and co will be aware of it; I’ve already pushed them in Cook’s connections to the ill fated Wigan sale to Stanley Choi (which I’m sure the EFL would ask about too).
It’s very very hypothetical at the moment so not worth too much concern.

By population, Burnley are smallest club to ever win the top flight.
I'll take both please, Franksey
There's an interesting interview here with Gary Neville and Steve Parish of Crystal Palace. There are some similarities with what he's saying about what he took over when he became Palace chairman and the job in hand at Blues, with a focus on moving club infrastructure forward.
- First thing was to bring the stadium back under club ownership
- Then get the academy to Category 1 and create a pipeline to the first team.
- Next step is to improve the stadium experience to catch up to bigger clubs. Читать дальше...

Here's something you can do for free. Send him a letter, expressing how appreciative you are, how much it meant, extolling his virtues and his humanity. Wonder at how rare selfless acts of kindness are, indicate what his actions have meant to all the people involved, what it still means, the positive impact he has made. You could even stick an amazon voucher or a lottery ticket in.
Don't overdo it though, you don't want to come across as a snowflake.
Seems a real character with a great story to tell and dine out on.
RIP.
I've heard he's going to sign on Friday.
I'm appealing for help to the great, the good and anything in between on SHA.
I want to send somebody a gift, nothing too extravagant but something nice. A neighbour of a member of my family, who lives 3+ plus hours away, did something above and beyond over the weekend when the family member was in serious trouble. I just want to send a little thank you. The helpful guy in question is late 30s with a young family, if that helps.

I didn't realise until a few days ago that they had shunted the Ashes in all before August.
Now I think the 100 has been great for getting kids and families in - forget the format for a second, T20 franchise would do as well - but making it the protected species when the greatest cricket series ever is on seems stupid.
I think it's all going to crash and there will have to be a massive reset, the proliferation of T20 tournaments must be close to overkill now.
Good friend of mine, smashing bloke, Chas Newby has passed away (aged 81)
Many will remember me posting about him on here before and the fun we used to have, when sat in the pub, when i would casually mention to people (after speaking for a while) that he used to play in a band
"oh", people would say, "Anyone i've heard of ?"

So are we now saying if you're blues and show potential, you can't have the job because you are blues?
No you shouldn’t have the job if someone else we can get is better qualified for the role.
