I just listened to an interesting podcast interview of Andy Street and Andy Burnham. Towards the end, Alastair Campbell asked Andy Street about the importance of sport and football in the regeneration of a city. Andy Street replied, with obvious significance, that we should 'watch this space'. (It also emerged during the podcast that he's a Villa fan, but so be it.)

Is there a quick answer re: current understanding of likelihood of move to the Wheels site? Forgive ignorance, but I'm not based in the UK.

Up till three seasons ago our record at Deepdale was pretty dire. Since 1961 we have won four times in our last 24 league and cup visits, although we've won two out of the last three, with Maxime Colin getting the only goal of the game last season.

I'll quite happily take a point tomorrow, what say you?

Not even close.
The one at Cardiff when we lost 4-2 wins by a mile.
Penalty for nothing.
Cardiff goal disallowed for nothing.
There was a late red card as well to even the numbers up.
Stroud was bad today but not close to that.
I'll raise you Paul Danson in the play off game at Preston

Dean Whitestone is the man in the middle for tomorrow evening. In six games this season he has issued 21 yellow cards and one red. The last Blues game he reffed ended in a 1-0 win for Blues at Millwall with Juke getting the only goal.

Are any of them reliable? I'm just looking at one hotel and the tripadvisor reviews are stunning whereas the booking.com reviews are pretty tragic. It's hard to believe it's the same place.

Also; people who name the staff in their reviews, makes me smirk a little sardonically.

whaaat. He's been outstanding and the football they play, for the most part, is wonderful. The arsenal ame last year was one of the best games i'd seen in ages. They didnt seem to care who they were playing, stuck to their principles and went for it.

I have to admit i wasn't a huge Harry fan before he joined but what he was good at in the last 3 games was building a siege mentality and we did well considering the season in context.

I remember watching the burton game and we were utterly awful, players not trying etc and his rant about some have played their las game. I didnt disagree with it in principle...

The part I found most odd though, whether he signed the players or not, is why oversee a wholesale change of players... Читать дальше...

Yeah. Makes getting a ST the most financial sense at Blues. I think it worked out at £19 a match in the Tilton.

£17.17p a game mine
Maybe it’s 17 quid, it was around that. So makes even more sense to get one.

Maybe some will get their wish - the Mail predicting losing Buchanan will mean a shift to 3 at the back and possibly dropping Hogan, might happen I reckon as well - both Longelo and Drameh are better wing backs than full backs. So people who have a clue about these things tell me.
