Roush Fenway Advance – Daytona International Speedway, 2.5-Mile

Roush Fenway Racing returns to hallowed ground this weekend as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) heads to Daytona International Speedway for the second time this season, a track that has seen a Roush Fenway Ford visit victory lane 10 times across the three major touring series.

Reed took home the checkered flag in the 2017 season opener at Daytona. Reed started the race second, took two spins through the grass during the race, but in the end took the lead and held off Cup Series regulars to earn his second win at Daytona.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr – Daytona Advance

Stenhouse has 10 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) with an average starting position of 21.6 and average finishing position of 19.7. Stenhouse Jr. earned his career best finish of fifth at the historic 2.5-mile track in last year’s Coke Zero 400.

Truex Jr. — Birthday, Fishing, New Paint Scheme & Racing

It will not be a typical weekend for Martin Truex Jr. at Daytona International Speedway, site of Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 NASCAR Cup Series race. Thursday’s first day of practice at the famed 2.5-mile tri-oval will also be Truex’s birthday. The Furniture Row Racing driver turns 37.

"I think there is going to be a big difference with how we handle in the draft from February to July at Daytona (International Speedway). With this lower downforce package, every ounce of downforce matters. When the temperature starts to rise 20 to 30 degrees that's a pretty significant change and the track will start getting greasier and people start slipping and sliding more. Weatherman to make 50th career ARCA start at Iowa

Kyle Weatherman is set to make his 50th career ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards start when the Fans With Benefits 150 comes to life at Iowa Speedway Saturday night, July 8. The Wentzville, Missouri driver is also coming with a championship team, teaming up with Mason Mitchell Motorsports.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Launches JR Nation Appreci88ion Campaign

Today Earnhardt Jr. announced his version of a final act – a five-month campaign called JR Nation Appreci88ion.  It will start this weekend at Daytona and carry through the end of the 2017 season, his last as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver.
