Sheldon Creed To Make Xfinity Debut At Mid-Ohio

Newcomer Sheldon Creed, a 19-year-old off-road racer from Alpine, Calif., is scheduled to make his Xfinity Series debut in the United Rentals No. 01 Chevrolet for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller.

Can-Am / Kappa Michigan Race Advance

After running some of the most unique racetracks at Indianapolis, Pocono, and Watkins Glen, the Can-Am / Kappa Ford team is traveling to the fastest track on the NASCAR schedule, Michigan International Speedway. This track is the last large-oval that the series will race at for quite a while, as NASCAR will be heading to some of its premier short-tracks for the next month. The Can-Am / Kappa team continues to sit 31st in points, up seven spots from this same time, and is fighting to move up the points standings.

GMS Racing to Pay Tribute to Michael Waltrip at Darlington

GMS Racing announced today that Spencer Gallagher and Allegiant will change their normal blue and white paint scheme to honor Michael Waltrip’s 1986 No. 23 Hawaiian Punch Pontiac at the historic Darlington Raceway on September 2nd in the annual Throwback weekend.
