An incident on lap 83 involving Nemechek resulted in a 28th-place finish for the GMS Racing team.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series raced at the Auto Club Speedway for the Production Alliance Group 300 today, where Cole Custer denied Kyle Busch his 200th win.
"We had another really solid No. 2 Hurdl Chevrolet Camaro this weekend at Auto Club Speedway. My team worked so hard on this Camaro, from putting in the work back at the shop to fixing it up after I scraped the wall in practice."

The fastest Ford in final Cup Series practice Saturday was the No. 2 Mustang of Brad Keselowski. With Keselowski headed off to handle TV duties for today’s Xfinity Series race, crew chief Paul Wolfe met with media members after happy hour to discuss the weekend.
