QUAKER STATE ANNOUNCES FAN VOTE FOR HISTORIC PAINT SCHEME

Quaker State, the iconic motor oil with a more than 100 year history, is launching a national fan vote to determine which throwback paint scheme will be featured on NASCAR’s No. 21 Wood Brothers Ford Mustang driven by Paul Menard. The paint scheme will be the primary paint out on Menard’s car at the ninth annual Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart at Kentucky Speedway.

Ford Performance NASCAR: Harvick Going for Kansas Repeat

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series will headline this weekend’s racing action at Kansas Speedway. Four current Ford Cup drivers have at least one series win at the 1.5-mile speedway while Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter have victories in the Truck Series.

Newman will make his 27th Cup start at Kansas on Saturday. In 26 prior starts, Newman has an average finish of 18.5 with seven top-10 and three top-five finishes, along with one win.

The No. 3 AAA Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 started off the day tight on exit and stayed that way until the end of the Stage 1.
