Twitter is now letting developers add labels to bot accounts

In September, Twitter launched an experiment of labels for automated (aka bot) accounts to make it easier to know when an account was running on its own. That experiment has apparently proved to be a success, as Twitter will let developers add labels to their automated accounts beginning Wednesday. You’ll see the label on the account’s profile and under the account’s name in your feed.

Workers at an Amazon warehouse on Staten Island in New York City will hold an election next month to decide whether to unionize, the Amazon Labor Union (ALU) said Wednesday. Workers at the warehouse, called JFK8, will vote between March 25th and March 30th, according to the ALU, which is representing the workers. 2021’s crypto bull market made criminals much richer

At the end of 2021, cybercriminals had over $11 billion in cryptocurrency tied to illicit activity, a meteoric rise from the $3 billion they held at the end of 2020, according to a report from blockchain data company Chainalysis. The most lucrative crime was theft — 93 percent of the funds in criminals’ crypto wallets were made up of stolen coins worth $9.8 billion, according to the firm.

Nintendo won’t let you buy digital games for Wii U and 3DS after March 2023

Nintendo is winding down new purchases on its Wii U and 3DS marketplaces.

The Nintendo Switch has been Nintendo’s main console for years now, but the company has still kept the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS’s eShop open for people who want to buy games on those platforms. In March 2023, though, that will no longer be the case — Nintendo won’t let you buy things on the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS eShop “as of late March 2023,” the company announced on Tuesday.

GM will resume Chevy Bolt production in April
