Microsoft has adopted Kata Containers to bring workload isolation to Azure Kubernetes Service. Based on the Hyper-V, Microsoft’s own hypervisor, and CBL-Mariner Linux, a home-grown Linux distribution, Microsoft is able to optimize the performance of running Kata Containers in AKS.
