With the NBA’s G League Showcase nearing and roughly a third of the regular season behind us, trade talks are picking up across the league.

League sources, who were granted anonymity so that they could speak freely, have told The Athletic that the Pistons are looking to move the veteran big man. Both sides have agreed that a deal is best for both parties, and Detroit has already had talks with rival teams about Noel. Portland, Sacramento, Miami and Dallas have been the teams most engaged when it comes to acquiring the 28-year-old.

The Pistons don’t appear to be eager to move Bogdanovic, who is in the midst of a career-scoring season and has added great leadership value to the young team. Of course, every player has a price, but with Detroit interested in turning a corner over the next year, the idea of keeping Bogdanovic is appealing to the organization. Bogdanovic signed a contract extension earlier this season, and it has always been my understanding that Detroit wanted to ink the veteran forward to a longer deal to keep him around, not to move him this season. Per league sources, the Pistons have answered calls and had discussions about Bey, the third-year forward who has had an up-and-down season. The sense I’ve received when talking to people around the league is that the 23-year-old may be gettable at the right price, though the “right price” is unclear.
