The pain in Anthony Davis’ right foot continues to subside and the Los Angeles Lakers’ star plans to begin the ramp up process to return to play when the team returns to L.A. this week, league sources told ESPN. Davis missed his 12th straight game on Saturday — a 136-134 win for the Lakers over the Sacramento Kings – because of a bone spur fractured off the navicular bone in his right foot, as well as a stress reaction.

Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant will miss at least two weeks after being diagnosed with an isolated MCL sprain of his right knee, the team announced Monday. Durant underwent an MRI, which confirmed the nature of his injury. The Nets said he will be reevaluated in two weeks.

I believe the source because, as good as Crowder can be when he’s at his best, it would make no long-term sense for the Wizards to offer Hachimura for Crowder. No sense at all.

With much less media fanfare than initial reporting in September, Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic and his mother, Mirjam Poterbin, quietly have resolved a legal conflict involving a trademark “LUKA DONCIC 7,” owned by Poterbin. According to public records of the case on the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s website, Doncic on Dec. 5 terminated a petition that he filed on Sept. 6, in which he sought to cancel the registration of the trademark.
