Also, agree with @johnhollinger’s take today that if you’re the Clippers, why do you want Harden instead of Jrue? You can theoretically just cut out the middle man and get Jrue, whose contract is extendable unlike Harden’s. And similarly to Harden, you’d be bringing him home. – 12:44 AM

The Bucks sent two-time All-Star Jrue Holiday to Portland to acquire Lillard, and I expect the Blazers to be active in the next few days to find a new landing spot for the veteran guard. Teams that had an interest in Lillard, such as Miami and Toronto, could potentially be suitors, though nothing is certain yet. And don’t be surprised if the 76ers are another team that aggressively pursues Holiday, whom they actually drafted back in 2009, as the James Harden situation continues to linger. -via The Athletic / September 29, 2023
