Deni Avdija upset about LeBron James elbowing him
Deni Avdija was unhappy with the lack of reaction after LeBron James inadvertently elbowed him on Wednesday. Suffering a migraine, he was limited to 22 minutes, sitting out the fourth quarter of the game between the Washington Wizards and the Los Angeles Lakers. “My brain isn’t damaged. So, that’s a good sign,” mentioned the Israeli forward, “The docs did a good job of checking on me and making sure I’m staying healthy. I got cleared in shootaround in the morning, and all went well. I was ready to play. Not a big deal.”

More on this storyline
“I don’t think he did it on purpose,” Avdija rejected malignity on the part of James, “I at least expected like if I get hit in the face or I hit somebody in the face, I expect to go and check on him. I felt like he didn’t do it. So, that got me a little bit pissed off.” -via EuroHoops.net / April 6, 2024
Tim Reynolds: Another mark for LeBron James: He will finish this season averaging at least 23.6 points, and that will be the highest average ever for the player who is the oldest in the league that season. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar averaged 23.4 points in 1985-86. That was the record for oldest player — until now. -via Twitter @ByTimReynolds / April 6, 2024
