Adrian Wojnarowski: Six-time All-Star F Blake Griffin announced his retirement from the NBA on Instagram. Griffin – the Clippers’ No. 1 overall pick in 2009 out of Oklahoma – made second-team All-NBA three times, third-team All-NBA twice and won the 2011 Rookie of the Year award. The Milwaukee Bucks are preparing to be without two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo for the start of their opening round Eastern Conference playoff series against the Indiana Pacers, but are hopeful treatment on his left calf strain will allow him to return sometime later in the series, sources told ESPN on Tuesday. Toronto Raptors center Jontay Porter owned and operated a VIP account at FanDuel in Colorado that wagered millions of dollars in total from 2021 to 2023, multiple sources with direct knowledge told the Action Network. One of those sources said FanDuel did not accept any wagers on the NBA or college basketball from Porter, whose brother, Michael Porter Jr., is a pivotal member of the Denver Nuggets team that won the NBA championship in 2023.
