With the Nets at practice Friday morning, they — like almost everybody else in the area — felt the 4.8 magnitude earthquake that hit at 10:23 a.m. The quake, centered in Readington Township (N.J.), was reportedly one of the biggest on the East Coast in the last century and reached HSS Training Center. “I felt that for sure. I think everybody did,” Mikal Bridges said. “I was by our locker room.”

A courtside fan in Chicago told Donte DiVincenzo to tuck in his jersey, and the Knicks guard wasn’t having it. During the Knicks’ 108-100 loss to the Bulls, DiVincenzo was demanded to tuck in his shirt by a fan in the front row at the contest. A visibly annoyed DiVincenzo promptly turned around and told the fan to “Shut the f–k up” during play. A fan responded by saying, “I mean, it’s a rule in the NBA,” which didn’t earn a reply.
