The Virtual Terrace • Re: Is this worth trying for our game?

Brilliant, but why the need for the "subtitles". Other than a couple of muffled moments (microphone problems), everything said was very clear?

Sport brings communities together, and anything that encourages that should be applauded.

Of course you want to introduce irrelevant points. What does losing 13 games in a row have to do with anything when 8 of those defeats were in a competition that we did not take part in? Calling a view drivel says more about you than about my previous post. My view may be different to yours but you can only resort to insults. If the defeat does not affect you why are you getting so uptight? You are a strange supporter if your club is quite heavily defeated, apparently... Читать дальше...

Andy Gregory was a wonderful player but in a completely different era. I’m not sure him coming back would achieve much if I’m honest. I’m happy to just retain my memories of him.

Good to see the lad back. He has had a terrible time. He was anonymous at Salford last year and I was thinking that he had peaked. after last night I think he may still be in with a chance. He looked lively and was bossing some of the older heads around. We certainly looked more threatening when we were moving forward from the ptb rather than just shuffling sideways. Now that we have given up on tackling we will need to outscore our opponents.

I think Wire always had the measure hence the drop goal... but it looked a huge step up from Wigan this season. That intensity maintained will keep Wigan up but I think top 5 is gone.

So you think that the intensity will keep us up, by the way Dicky on the St Helens site it says that you want us to be relegated, why dont you keep on your own site and stop sh-t stirring.

Watching the game back, it's clear that Jack Hughes has made huge strides the last twelve months, not just in his general play but in his leadership qualities.

He now looks the kind of strong, vocal, dependable leader all teams need. I'm not going to reopen the Chris Hill debate, but even when Hill is on the field, Jack looks like a player and character his teammates admire and respond to.

He's loving it at Wire. He got some real shatty stick from Wigan fans. Читать дальше...

Wigan Warriors - wiganrugbyfans.com • Scrum half

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

If you want to see how scrum half should be played, watch some old Wigan videos with Andy Gregory at 7. The guy was everything you would want in a 7. He was a little general who bossed the team, he could throw miracle over head passes, open the tightest defence with a delayed short pass, run at the biggest men on the field and cause sparks to fly, kick long, kick short.

Why is he not involved in the game in some way? He could teach young British half backs so much.

If correct, there's no need for it. Hopefully they'll be caught and charged accordingly.

Another great result for London. Leeds are doing it tough at the moment. It doesn't get any easier with a trip to Catalan up next and then Castleford at Headingley the week after.

If I was a Leeds fan I'd book myself a holiday somewhere with no internet as the points difference could become a little embarrassing in the next two weeks.

Similar experience here as well. Each week I have a look online or either try and pop into the shop before a game and I've never been able to find what I want in stock or in the correct size. I have money ready to spend but the club are missing out on this. Читать дальше...

Mcguire was fine as a Captain, he hardly played in 2016 and we ended up in the middle 8s he played far more in 2017 and we won the title.

Anyway who the captain is is way down on the list of problems, it seems this team cannot go through a full game without seitching off at crucial times we need to sort that out and fast. Furner must be tearing his hair out

exactly, offered him what he is worth for the amount of games we got back in return. not enough,,..warrington have more money... if they get more games from him then maybe its our backroom staff who cant keep players fit.. which on evidence could be true

Da Costa always appears a smidge one dimensional to me.

He is always there at the play the ball but his range of passing seems short and is always just popped off to a forward.

...he could fit in well with the way we want to play right now!!!

Huddersfield Giants - claretandgold.co.uk • Re: Relegation

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I think Shudds have something about them, its not going well atm but they at least look like they could put a few wins together.
Right now, its Leeds that look like they have nothing, obviously neither of them seem likely to be making mid table but its a bit early for both teams to be talking relegation.
Game 10 is the kick up the arris point, if neither have done anything by then, you have to start thinking about basement dog fights.
