London Broncos • Re: Leeds next

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Just got back. A fantastic result. Our defense was exceptional. We played the full eighty minutes, unlike the Rhinos who only managed about twenty. Leeds were in truth, not very good.
On the negative side Cunningham went off injured with his ankle, but was able to walk on it at the end of the game.So may be not so bad. Alex Walker took a knock to the head with a minute to go. A lot of blood but he said he was okay.
A good turn out for The Broncos. A good fifty plus made it to Headingley, with it being Friday night it is not easy. Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos - southstander.com • Re: Club Rebuild

Agree with Biff. 2016 was not recognised as what it was by the club, and we literally recruited nobody for 2017 as a result of buying into the excuseathon. 2017 was probably the nadir of SL, and we beat cas in a dreadful game. So onto 2018 and no real quality recruited. And now this year.

It says a lot that over this past awful period only Walker has come through the juniors of any quality. Whilst Furner needs to show he can do the job the rot set in well before he came, and most of the squad - including Lolohea - were not his picks. Читать дальше...

Not at all. It's never a problem to enjoy a win over our arch enemy....and I still envy the successful 3 and 1/2 decades of near total supremacy over Wire.

Not winning a SL GF and always being 2nd best to Wigan in finals is something we deal with.

Oh I thought that was rhetoric.

"Clean slate" as far as this corner is concerned. In their relegation season following liquidation (and, yes, hampered by a twelve point deduction) Bradford relied heavily on D/R and loanees and made a reasonable start but the parent clubs increasingly recalled their lads as injuries started to bite back at home and The Bulls faded badly as a result.

Welcome additional, Leythe solely grunt therefore. Let's back the fellah!

Envy means I except that Wigan are the greater cup winning team and I appreciate that and can only wish it was Warrington.
Jealous is like a fear that you might take something I want.

So I can't be jealous...you have already got the t shirt and there is nothing to be jealous about, in fact it's negh impossible to be jealous.

Now we all know that isn't true.
Wasn't he on a season long loan with you guys?
He started like a house on fire but was dropped for poor performances towards the end of the season and didn't even make your team for the cup semi or final iirc.
So clearly not gone backwards due to being at Hull.

You are partly correct, he was part of the deal when Rangi went to salford and we got the then unheard of Sneyd for a 12 month loan. He was brilliant for... Читать дальше...

I thought Leuluai was good tonight and we looked more balanced with him at 9. Can’t argue with the rest of your post NK.

Just think Tommy looks short of energy tbh and at a time when we really need him to lead from the front, he’s been a bit quiet.

I just hope we’ve turned a corner late on in that game tonight. The effort and passion loooks to still be there but we need to build some confidence now.

Seriously there aren’t. What we call poverty in this country would be considered a good life on some parts of the world. There are always victims and those who fall through the net but most people living on the streets as people put it often put themselves there.

Considering London's opening fixtures, they have done remarkably well to be on 6 points. 6 or 7 more wins could see them survive. There will be a few clubs quite nervous right now as everyone thought the bottom place in super league was cut and dried before a ball was kicked.

The rest of his game ok at best. Davies was far better than him tonight.
