Hull KR • We have signed Brad Takairangi.

Great signing. A really impressive recruitment policy, a great emphasis on youth and some really talented coaches. I'm looking forward to seeing how you go next season but I reckon in 3 or 4 seasons with the structures you have in place you'll be flying. Happy New Year, I hope you do well except when you play us!

Bradford Bulls - RedAmberandBlack.net • Redevelop starts 4th Jan?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Not sure if anyone else has picked up on the paragraph about the stadium in the exec summary of the clubs SL bid doc just released...

"In addition, plans are being drawn, exploring all options for the stadium footprint and adjourned sites. We have a five-year timescale in mind for redevelopment or new build in or around the existing Odsal site."

There are more than a few nods and winks in that paragraph to suggest something could be on the horizon in relation to either the land behind... Читать дальше...

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I'd take Robert Matamosi from Keighley, or another Fijian back in the forces.

Heron was crying out for a pack with some enforcers in it. Remember him doing OK at six too. On a slightly different note I think Craig Izzard (sadly briefly) made the biggest instant impression of any of our imported forwards. He was a belter.

Jarrod did go back up north for family reasons, but looks like that didnt work out with his ex mrs so the his ties to the north are probably pretty weak.
Would be pleased to see him back.

Good move for him, he needs to be playing every week. I don't know why this is a loan rather than him going altogether though, surely we don't want a 28 year old with little SL experience providing centre cover in 2022. I don't think he's a bad player but I'd rather those games go to a younger player who we can develop for an NRL club.

I think most people have established that you're not exactly the brightest bulb in the box old boy - your inability to construct arguments has been singularly obvious through the course of the last few pages. It fits with how you appear to have voted in the referendum though.

I must admit coming home from that game I really thought he would kick on.

An end of year message to our fans from the CEO
I trust that you have all managed to have the best Christmas possible and some of you will have been able to spend some time with family and friends and will hopefully now be getting ready to join me in welcoming in a new year that can only get better for us all.

2020 has been, without doubt, the most difficult I have had to face at the club as I approach 10 years at the London Broncos. There have been many up’s and down’s throughout my time... Читать дальше...

Do squad numbers matter...

They do if you're the type who likes to buy a shirt with their favourite player's name and number on. Although really they should update the squad numbers with the release of the new shirt, for this purpose.

Personally, I buy a shirt about one in every three years but never get a name and number on the back. Once you're older than your favourite player, it's time to stop

Wigan Warriors • Spotted in York.

Whilst in a Tesco car park I spotted the Vehicle reg 1 WGN.

I cast my mind back to some of the great Wigan full backs and pondered whether any of them would have the ego
or the 'brass' to make a bid for this fantastic car registration ?

Given there's only 85 people in England and Wales that actually have had an alleged covid infection in week 52, 50 in week 51, (I'm currently checking the governments notifiable diseases documents) why do we need any insanely expensive and invasive drug and all the rest of the BS when it's clear people for the most part are not dying from covid 19 and that the governments numbers are a criminal lie of epic proportions.
And most of the small number of deaths are from their underlying health condition not a virus. Читать дальше...

Our marketing isn't bad but who really, even if we win something is going to come down to Belle Vue. We do it because we have history with the place but we are always going to find it hard without something a bit more comfortable or welcoming.

Sorry PT but it simply isn’t, marketing is a myth in that you can only market success whether that be sausages or Rugby. Читать дальше...

Wakefield Trinity • Tom Allen show

Just watched the show where he visits Wakefield.

Tbh I thought it would be a total Micky take but it wasn’t that bad just a bit daft.

He mentioned Trinity a few times and tbh he got a fairly muted response.

It goes to show I suppose how far down the cities pecking order the club has fallen when the Pie shop gets a far better response.

Likewise goes to show how much we need the stadium upgrade and even more importantly that we need to win something and soon!

Come on lads you know you can do it... Читать дальше...
