Halifax Panthers - FaxFans.co.uk • Neil's Notes/Club 1873/Away Travel

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

2 Yorkshire sides certainly gave great entertainment on Yorkshire Day. From start to finish the match swung from one side to the other. Panthers getting a 10 point lead only to see this change to a 6 point deficit before getting back to all square going into the last 15 minutes. Everybody looked towards Jordan Lilley for the drop but a surprise Flanagan drop with 7 minutes to go looked like a repeat of our 1 point loss to the Bulls earlier in the season. It proved however a point too early as James... Читать дальше...

It must be looking at last night. People weren’t happy with the Charnley/Marshall incident but even if they’d gone upstairs they’d have given it. That last night was just terrible. I couldn’t quite believe my eyes. They say they need concrete proof to overturn the on field decision, well they had that and ignored it. It’s as though... Читать дальше...

Poptart...I couldn't care less about royalty one way or tuther,my comment was a bit of fun.But I do think you're wrong if you think Kate whatshername will make much difference to how we are perceived as a sport or whether we will benefit much.People aren't stupid, they know KM has absolutely nothing in common with RL,nor will she have.

We saw in the Leeds v Warrington game last night how important a fast young interchange hooker can be when young Walker scored his try

Wakefield Trinity • Huddersfield tickets

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Been in for tickets for next Sunday and what a pleasant surprise.
Only £21.00 for adult tickets.

IIRC this is actually cheaper than 10 years ago, when they were £25 a pop.

We need some good support, for what is on paper a winnable game and at £21, no excuses.
Lets back the boys and see if we can help the Mighty Trin come back with 2 points.

Wigan Warriors • NCL Players?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Under the current system, SL clubs are forced to make decisions on players at 19 years old. After that they either need to be fringe first teamers or they are shown the door, either to go part time in Championship/League 1, or else back to amateur level, or quit the game altogether in many cases. However, when I look at the NCL, I think there have been some late bloomers that the professional game has really missed out on, particularly in the forwards where they fill out more in their 20s and become more grizzled. Wigan Warriors • Attendances - Do we need to be worried?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Since the removal of restrictions we've seen a Friday night gate of 5.5k vs Wakefield and 9.2k (with a sizeable contingent of lobbys) for a Sunday fixture with Leigh.

I could understand this when restrictions were still in place, but i expected crowds to return to usual pre-pandemic levels once lifted, perhaps even above these as I thought there would be a lot of clamor to get back to the rugby. What i didn't expect was that crowds would still be roughly half of what they would be for similar fixtures pre-pandemic levels. Читать дальше...

The Virtual Terrace • Racism at the Leeds v Warrington game

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

absolutely no need for this in rugby league.

Funny thing is, if Oledzki plays for England (which I think he has a great chance of) the same Warrington fans that were racist towards him will end up cheering him. That’s what makes me laugh about the whole situation

Warrington Wolves • Racist abuse.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Warrington guardian are reporting that racist abuse is being looked into with a leeds player.

My thoughts. Like come on wire fans. We are above that give the opposition stick. But let's not be racist. We are above that crap.

If they find them ban. And it proves to be true. And proves they said it. Ban them. Cause it's not something this club and stands for and they should not be wearing the shirt of a wire.

Wigan Warriors • Question for any Referees

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

In last nights game the Charnley try/no try. Dwyer stole the ball in a three man tackle over the try line. Had the try not been given what would the decision have been regarding restarting the game?

I do agree Seth re Agars subs, it certainly didn’t help but for me the weight of the blame is on the players. We were the best side imo and should have won comfortably

We don't need 4 hookers

Who are the four?

Powell, O’Neill, Bourouh (although probably not) and?

I think we can carry three, especially when two are young and would be on low salaries. Also Brad O’Neill player as much (and probably more) at loose forward as he did at hooker in the juniors. It isn’t a case that Bourouh is a cast iron certainty to be a good player for us but it just feels like it’s a bit early to be cutting our losses.

Halifax Panthers - FaxFans.co.uk • Re: Bradford

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

That game, especially the 2nd half, was a good watch for any neutral fan. From a Fax point of view though it probably followed our previous games in highlighting where the team is lacking. Our pack is very lightweight and we didn't really get on top of the bulls fat boys until they tired late in the game. We also really need a game breaker in the halves but which team doesn't? What we do have is a team that gives it all and plays to the very last whistle. We obviously need a couple of extra players... Читать дальше...

Hull FC - blackandwhites.co.uk • Saints Home

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Unfortunately we don't have a lot of options to be able to make many changes to the side despite the poor effort on Thursday against Leeds but Brown in to the 17 should be one.

However for me as we had very little from Houghton in that game I'd either start with Johnstone or actually try Ben McNamara at 9 just to try and shake things up a little. To be quite honest between Houghton & Johnstone the way they're playing at the minute I don't think we have anything to lose. It may be harsh... Читать дальше...

I appreciate the coach's opinions BUT its the fans who pay to go through the turnstiles.
