London Broncos • Hull KR - Away

It's getting a bit late in the week to announce our latest loan signings with the 21 about to be announced. No Butterworth I'd assume.

Dufty plain and simple on three occasions has chickened out of attempting to catch a high ball.. that’s not a mistake that’s a problem within Dufty himself.. as good as he has been these last few months it doesn’t excuse him for not having the balls to make a decent effort catching the high ball..

He's no Steve Hampson for sure, but what to do with him? Do you drop our most dangerous offensive player?

Fingers crossed Ipswich slip up in next two games, they have Norwich away on Saturday (obviously their big local derby) and then a rejuvenated Watford... i'd be surprised if Leicester lose any of next 3 but they do have Milwall away next week. their tough run comes at the end of April with West Brom h, Southampton h, Preston a... if we can get a win on Saturday that sets us up beautifully imo.. can't see Leicester losing at home to Birmingham

A player who has worked under Smith and not playing at Wire is Ratchford…worth a cheeky inquiry?….good pro…goal kicker and can cover fb/centre/stand off.

Tbf to him he’s a had a very solid career and represented England well imho. He was one of the best second rowers in SL in his time.

He was ok but, nowhere near to Solomona though.
Mind you, that's not his fault.
Solomona still remains one of the best players that we've had at Trinity in the last 40 years.
The comparison should never have been made by the club.

Lock Lane had the biggest representation in our recent Academy intake, followed by West Bowling, they were the best 2 teams in the country, with West Bowling winning the national cup

Our 2nd year Scholarship are pretty evenly spread between Community clubs We've took from, with stanningley the biggest representation with 5, 3 from birstall Victoria, 3 from kings cross, 3 from Siddal etc, again, 3 of the 4 semifinalists... Читать дальше...

A lee Kenny drop goal in the grand final but Bradford get promoted cos they counted the fans who went to watch the monster trucks as well .

Cas obviously have a decent enough crop at this level. They turned Wigan over a couple of weeks ago too. Very obviously Leeds are leading with a young side in the academy, and preferring reserves for the second years.

Second part is incorrect, there are no second years playing for the reserves and missing Academy, they arnt good enough, the best 2 second years are McCormack and Corbett and they play for both

I think another hard truth is that youth talent isn’t reliable, it comes in waves sometimes. Also the NW just seems to have a deeper pool to draw from than we do in Yorkshire. The hotter beds around Halifax / Dewsbury are contested and then we seem to draw a lot from Kippax region.

I’ll keep my powder and source dry for now.
I’m very happy in the fact that it seems highly likely something is afoot and soon.
I had it confirmed last night that there is chatter in the ‘money and business community in East Yorks’ re Adam.
To me there is no smoke without fire in these things and I’ll happily wait.

That’s quite significant because it makes our first 13 and bench stronger.

For me we should consider starting Lisone with Mik and get at Warrington early.
