Fulham

A sad reminder of just how pointless football can be. So much hard work, toil, excitement from last season, all reduced to nothing with a season of continual embarassament. Battered every week, I can't recall them having a memorable win. They'll come down now with only the one year of parachute payments, a ridiculously overpriced squad, many of whom won't be competent for the Championship and will be hard to sell.

Someone on here last week posed the question, is it even worth getting promoted? Of course, there is little point in football without trying to achieve something but you look at Fulham and you have to wonder. Still, at least they had the fun of last season...
