About 15years ago I was stuck at Dublin airport after England Ireland 5nations game, he was there too with a significantly younger lady, he was nice as pie, chatted away to us and even brought me and my 2 mates Irish coffee's top bloke.
Think they have some of the same issues we've had as well as the rest of the British and Irish isles teams, shite defensive-minded managers who hinder the national team more than anything, players who don't see international football as the pinnacle anymore and go through the motions, and their best players not quite having the career progression they should have.

Yes, seemed a good bloke, and not afraid to take the piss out of himself. I quite liked him in 'The Wild Geese', with Richard Harris (whose mantel clock from his suite at The Savoy is now in my living room!) and Richard Burton, I must admit. Bloody good cast for an average movie, although good knockabout stuff
