Apologies for starting the thread earlier this week. I obviously jumped the gun, and raised expectations unnecessarily. I will comment no further on speculation regarding Badu signing on Monday.;)
Well from what's been said ( I know we have heard it for weeks now ) downing is supposed to be very close to being signed now and will be done Monday : Tuesday latest

I thought he did okay. Got some pace. Second half he got a bit more confident. Davis was playing in front of him so he didn't have much chance trying to build anything up out wide.

This shouldn't even be up for discussion. Harding was an academy centre back parachuted in last minute. Cannot be judged playing at RB. Everyone would have moaned if we'd played Kieftenbeld or Davis there. He did a job, that's what he was there to do.
My god we are desperate for two wide men if we are doing to play 4-4-2. Davis is not a right winger and he will get crucified by the crowd if we persist with him there. Maghoma for all his work rate didn't put a single cross in today and needs to be replaced ASAP as we still don't have a left footed winger!!! Was the last one Townsend on loan or Beausejeur?

This. One hundred percent, this. When I first started going we were in the old division one and were perennially missing out on play-offs. Then getting in the play-offs and ballsing it in the semis. And yet th atmosphere was awesome. I'll never forget seeing us battered by Barnsley (FFS) 4-0 at home. The song that year was "we're on our way, to the premier." Badu would be an absolutely superb signing, in keeping with the quality of all of our other signings so far.
Of the other 4 or 5, I'd guess at least 3 will be attacking. We will be looking very good indeed if those signings are as good as the ones we've already made.
