Re: Despite 14 in, and 15 out...
I don't mind him staying. I prefer him to Kieftenbeld.

The Birmingham City boss tied up deals for no fewer than 13 players across the summer

'Gaping hole' will trigger all kinds of filters on my pc :D
Think that's it for him blues career over gone next window.
Massive mistake bringing him back.
I don't think it was a mistake bringing him back- who would have forecast this transfer activity back in December?
It hasn't worked for him yet and I don't think he'll be a regular starter, but also don't seee him going anywhere in Jan.
Totally agree, I wouldn't have him start again unless injuries/suspensions hit us hard
My bad. Duff info from SSN.

For one day? I wonder if it's in our DNA to just see the world as shitshow regardless of what is right in front of us. Now, I do my fair share of moaning and I was pretty pissed after Reading. I hold my hands up, I was getting tired of Harry berating the players and had a little go. BUT, what he has pulled out of the bag - considering where we are and where we've been - it's little short of spectacular.
For the love of God, only three seasons ago we had Adam Rooney up front; Wes Thomas a season later. Читать дальше...

Yesterday was a day that 6 years ago when Carson was sent down, us fans could only but dream about, being linked with all and sundry, spending 6m on an attacking talent that most agree should be in the prem and discussing a move for a champions league and premier league winner in Song only for it to fall through at 11th hour due to the medical. Yet somehow, this morning, there still seems to be a certain bunch of people on this forum who are overly critical, not enjoying the... Читать дальше...
I think we need to thank them for being such a generous feeder club.

Immense effort. Decent goal return that kept us up and stabilised us after Clark. Good luck at the Blades, except in the obvious fixtures...
Absolutely this.
How anyone can be upset that Keif and Donaldson have gone is beyond me.
Some want us to be plucky Blues forever. I'm sick and tired of us being shit and boring.
I can't think of an example where a new manager has signed a complete new team in one window. Be interesting to know whether he genuinely thinks practically the whole squad just aren't good enough. Or if something is rotten at the core of the squad, since Rowetts sacking and it needed to be eradicated.
I am excited for the rest of the season, but a 50% turnover rate for a starting line-up for a new manager in his first window, would still be high but the wholesale changes on this scale are just mind boggling to me.

Rowett coming in for (at least) 2 of our players last minute should tell you everything you need to know.
What transfer window, have I missed something here?
I think, due to the amount of players brought in and money spent, unless we have a proper good season Harry will be seen as a chequebook manager. Hopefully he's aware we can't do this every transfer window and is able to use his management skills to solve problems rather than seek complete personnel replacement.
Now the window has closed it feels like the day after you get back from holiday.
I am sure a few players will get brief look in the future in case of injuries but can only think these would include maybe Morrison, Gardener, Maghoma, Jutkiewicz and Nsue now and they should be classed as fringe players maybe? and Adams being the only one who would be considered for a first team regular.
