I don't think we'll be seeing much of him in the coming months.

Blues are delighted to announce the loan signing of Everton midfielder Liam Walsh until 3 January 2018.The 19 year-old becomes Harry Redknapp's 14th summer signing and will help bolster the Club's midfield options.Walsh is a ball-playing central midfielder by trade who is comfortable in possession a

That really was a great deadline day for us. Jota is a class act and will make a big difference to us. However I am still concerned by the following observations about our squad.
- If we play 532 we only have one left wing back in Brammal. Don't fancy Grounds at left wing back.
- As Song and Acquah fell through we still lack strength in midfield. Whats wrong with Digger Harry? Does Jason Lowe pass it around or put his foot in?
- We now have 4 right backs. Nsue, Colin, Cogley and Jenkinson. Читать дальше...
Or does Harry have a full week for yesterdays signings and the rest of the squad, to bond and train and get to know Harrys tactics for the match against Norwich a week tomorrow?
"Not going til Carson has gone.
The football's boring.
It's £40 a ticket."
The time for these excuses are over - get yourselves back to St Andrews!
We have signed proven Championship performers and some of the Premiership's best young talent.
We have Harry effing Redknapp as manager!
We now have a team who will play real football and if we pack the place out and get behind them, just maybe we can do something great.

That was fecking nuts, absolutely nuts.
Brilliant work by Blues, just a shame it was all at the end and we'll take time to gel. Can we mount a challenge now? There can be no excuses from Harry.
Had to go to bed early for a flight this morning so I think we signed the Brentford right back and a midfielder on loan from Everton? What's that, 14 signings :D
Kieftenbeld for £2m is robbery and Donaldson going is sensible. They both go with good wishes after doing well for us. Читать дальше...

Jota - Hit considered a flop by the gerrit forward brigade who accuse him of not getting stuck in enough while totally failing to grasp the purpose of his role
Lowe - Flop considered a hit by the gerrit forward brigade because he's not afraid of getting stuck in
Walsh - Hit but not better than Gleeson, who should rightly be pissed of he's losing his place to a kid for at least four months
Colin - Hit but replaced by Jenkinson when the latter is fit again after Christmas

I'd take him on a free transfer in the next few days. Good quality and would ease the worries about that part of the team

The missing piece was a skillful deep lying midfielder, and in Walsh it seems we have it. Untried but promising, and I think our squad really is quite complete.
Shame about Song, but who knows, Walsh might be a masterstroke. Young and hungry anyway.
What a ridiculous day, and a ridiculous window. We have a cracking set of options now, and I for one am glad we kept hold of Davis.
Let's enjoy this; we deserve it after all that
(tu)
I just hope we don't rely too heavily on Walsh; I don't want us to be fecked if he gets injured.
Also, one of the most exciting things for me so far this season has been Harding. He showed glimpses of something special against Bournemouth, and I think there's a real player in there.
So we still have him for another year....
Maikel Kieftenbeld has joined fellow Championship club Derby County for an undisclosed fee.The move sees the 27-year-old midfielder reunited with former Blues boss Gary Rowett at Pride Park.Kieftenbeld joined Blues two years ago from FC Groningen, where he made 150 appearances.

There's some discrepancy with the fee. Some parties have said as much as 2 million, elsewhere its been reported at 300k
If they've got him for 300k its an absolute bargain and no brainer on their part.
