I’d almost forgotten about this and I’m quite surprised it didn’t get a mention on here. That bloke who took part in the half time shots in competition (forged what the proper term is) and asked Craig Gardner, who was warming up on the pitch, if he could wear his boots while he had his go (to which Craig duly obliged).
That was class, that was. I thought at the time someone on SHA must know him ( he might even post?).
Didn’t get one shot through the holes though, IIRC, :D

waking up on a freezing cold morning and realising that I haven't got to get up for work.

Wasn’t it Scorcher and Score? Shoot was the kind of news and interviews with players one, wasn’t it (along with the free league ladders at the start of the season. I heard once, don’t know if it’s true, that when Jim Smith was asked how he knew Tarantini was a available to be signed, he said he read it in Shoot. :D

Two things... first made me smile:
"Got tickets to watch in United end today. While being searched on the way in to the ground I asked the guy "what you searching for" he says "Just making sure your not smuggling any atmosphere in." :D

We have now managed to get up to one point a game. Most years, in this division, to stay up you need well over 46 points, sometimes over 50 points. Bolton and us, after bad starts are now doing well.
The other four, Barnsley, Burton, Sunderland and Hull are spiralling down and have not got close to a point a game. There are a lot of duff teams in this division now. Which is cool. Up the Blues.
