What a tragedy about that 13 yr old drowning in Stoke yesterday, sadly public are not made aware of dangers of swimming anywhere apart from swimming baths, in particular lakes, quarries or deep rivers.
The cold shock when you dive in actually freezes your lungs and makes you incapable of breathing properly, you panic, start gasping for breath and swallow large amounts of water which leads to drowning!
Especially in this wonderful hot weather we are enjoying this becomes more of an issue! Читать дальше...

Why hasn't it been stamped out? It's still the biggest scourge on the game, and it's getting worse. Why isn't more being done about it?

It's embarrassing, this world cup. Honestly, you can see how it has filtered into the English leagues. It seems to be something the foreign players do naturally and of course, now it's part and parcel of the game, including the premiership.

With the unmasking and demise of Kaspersky, can anyone recommend a decent anti virus software package. It doesn’t have to be free, I’m happy to pay if it does the job with minimal disruption.

No not increasing it to 48 teams with 3 team groups.

I'd like to see the following changes made though:

1) 2nd round to be an unseeded draw to take place after the last group game. This would stop all the nonesense around gaming the last group games like the discussions on whether its better for England to finish first or second. The knockout structure as it is can stay in place but round two is no longer pre-determined by the position in the groups.

I agree with groups, but by doing an unseeded draw for the l16, it takes 50% of the relevance away from group stages.

Theres nothing wrong with it the way it is.

Yeah you have dead rubbers like group G, but it also throws up some great final games like groups H, F, E, D etc

Hopefully more exciting than the earlier offerings.

Argentina- surely a side with the likes of Aguero, Higuain, Di Maria, Mascherano & Messi will win at least 1 in 3 games? Think they might just do that.
