Just watched it.
Excellent passing and control from two attacking players.
My point was about the ability of defensive players to play the ball out from the back.
Or rather their inability to do so.

What a dream of a central midfielder always been a fan of the way he plays and how easy he makes the game look while also being strong and physical.
Was we once linked with him before he went fulham if i remember correctly?
Saw the first episode last week and as much as I wanted to enjoy it, it didn't quite hit the spot.
Just caught up with the second episode now though, on BBC Iplayer- would highly recommend to fellow old codgers like myself.

Our players, particularly our defenders, can’t do it, can they? Little control when the ball comes to them, little accuracy when they pass.
And when a team decides to press them, as most of the remaining 15 teams will, they panic like rabbits on the M25.
More basic practice needed - until then, get it up the feckin park away from our goal.
