Small Heath Alliance

What the feck going on there, then? Pellegrini on £10m a year, £50m spent so far on players and about to sign Felipe Anderson for £42m, taking their spending to £92m. Where the feck did they suddenly get the spending bug from?

Pickford

Outstanding. For me was a toss up between him and Butland at the start, but has proven himself to be an exceptional international keeper. (8)

Butland & Pope. No time on the pitch, but as we know, Butland would have proven an able deputy.

Walker

World class full back. Mediocre centre half. Caught out too many times for me, which ultimately proved costly. With the emergence of Trippier, may have to be content with the bench. (6)

Unusual Car Insurance Questions (19 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

I know I've asked this ages ago yet it's still intriguing me.

Why would someone keep changing their car every two or three months, all cars are around 2001 or 2002 registrations ?

If one of these cars was insured and a MOT pass why would you not drive it on a motorway and use the back roads instead ?

Most boring question of the year (13 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Well with no proper football after tomorrow for a couple of weeks I've decided to finally do my garden up after 10 years of putting it off. I wasn't going to ask but I've seen shit threads about tennis etc so thought feck it.

The million dollar question is where is the best and cheapest place to buy some nice cheap plants? I don't mean shitty pansys i want stuff thats gonna come back year after year, i don't want to spend a fortune though. I have no idea or real interest in the garden but Mrs Rib does so it'll shut her up. Читать дальше...

Thought this piece is a decent reflection on England’s tournament.

For me, we often played in a different way from the many stodgy, excruciatingly frustrating performances in the past from players who, on paper, were better than the current ones. As for the defeat to Croatia, the contrast between the first half and the rest of the game was startling. Keane says we ‘reverted’ to the same old England, which is sort of true, but does say why. Croatia were... Читать дальше...

Re: Grealish & England

Small Heath Alliance

I honestly don't think he's good enough - yet. He may be in time, but there are others who might develop better than him. Everyone keeps talking about the lad Foden for one and Loftus Cheek is already better than Greasy.

Grealish & England

Small Heath Alliance

I realise I'm going to get shot down in flames here for saying this, but I genuinely think Jack Grealish could emerge as the player to fit the missing piece in the England midfield jigsaw.

Although he's a greasy DVB, he is a damn fine player, has the ability to win the ball, run at defences and pick the right pass - everything we lacked against both Croatia and Belgium in the 3rd place play-off.

That's why it's vital he moves to Spurs so he gets the chance to develop as a player. Читать дальше...
