The Sweeney one was good.

My favourite was the piece by Ilona Secacz that usually played out the end of Boys From The Blackstuff.

That final frame freeze at the end of Yosser's Story when he was being restrained after trying to drown himself was incredibly stark/moving/effective pick your own adjective. And the music fit it perfectly. I think she wrote that as well.

Advice, Hip op and missing Blues (14 replies)

Well after a few years of trying most things I have had to bite the bullet and will be having a Hip operation.
Just looking for any advice from those that have gone through it.

I am having the skim operation implant as advised due to my (youthful years, Docs words not mine) age so that if or when this one fails in the future it will be much easier to have a full operation and the bone will not have been drilled.
