I live in Boldmere and I couldn't think of anything worse than watching the game in the Sutton Park Hotel, surrounded by them fannies. It's unbearable.
Any recommendations for decent sky sports pubs in town or Digbeth please? Don't want to get too far out of town as we want to meet up after with the lucky sods in our group who've got tickets (via a Baggies fan???). I'm guessing Hennessey's will be rammed?

Interesting article on the BBC about a recent assault on an Irish amateur referee and other stories of abuse and intimidation towards referees at the grass roots level.

You see a lot of people moaning about the standard of refereeing from the Premier League all the way down to the amateur game; and to me it’s incidents like this that have an obvious detrimental affect to the refereeing at the top level and below.
