Villa pen that should have been a free kick to us
Harding great tackle, foul and yellow
Grealish 2 footed on Colin, foul for them
Hutton 2 footed, bottled the second yellow

Give them 800 tickets, open the John Merrick and sue WMP and the EFL if they try and prevent us from doing so.
Otherwise we may as well fecking forget it. Again

Strange headline. The boost is a couple of Millwall injuries

There's a lot of talk on here about what's gone wrong with the defence, why have we conceded 10 in 3 games etc etc.
I think we just need a little reality check. The squad is paper thin due to the restrictions we have been put under (all our own doing) and we quite simply do no have the cover for Maghoma, Jota, Gary Gardner, Davis, Vassell.
You take those 5 out of most championship squads and you're going to struggle.
If you consider that 3 of our regular midfield... Читать дальше...
Exactly right, summed up by Lee Hendrie's comments in the Sky Panel after the game:
"Look at Villa's bench and compare that to Birmingham City's, that's the difference between the two teams" (or words to that effect...)

It's my last comment on yesterday as it's gone now and it's been talked to death already, but this is something that effects us going onwards and seems to continue to cost us - are we too nice as a team?
You can call it 'nous' you can call it 'gamesmanship' or whatever you want but 2 incidents spring to mind yesterday.
The pen - a lot of smarter defenders would have gone to ground after the first push on Morro, not been honest and stood up to try and win the ball back and in so doing giving a pen. Читать дальше...
Should be used to derby day defeats by now, wasn't as bothered by the last two defeats at Vila Park, but this one really sticks in the claw for some reason. I guess our expectations have been raised, as they say it's always the hope that kills you.
I think it's because inside I know we could have won this one, coupled with the seeming injustice of playing them with a makeshift team (and watching them celebrate at the end like they'd just won a cup final!!!
Worrying. This team / style is terrible without a strong defence. We’re starting to concede a lot.
We had less than 90 passes in the game. Elmohamady made more passes than any of our lot and he came on in the 80th minute.
We desperately need to get our strong defence back, otherwise the season is over
I know it's still a week away, but they'll be a lot of build up this week for us boxing fans.
There's a great documentary of Fury worth watching (By BT Sport, who have a production a million miles better than Sky these days) :
I hope the big man can do it.

monk has been poor. We haven't been good at all this season. Dropped to many points against poor team. We have 2 keepers who are 10x better than camp. He brought Pederson who has cost us to many goals this season, Harding was by far one of our best players towards the end of last season who can't play where he should this season. Adams is poor and Gardiner is past it. Again it's embarrassing and we are in a false position in the league. Читать дальше...

it's the badt times that make the good times so much better, wouldn't change it for the world (apart conceding that Hutton goal)
Never comes for the ball with any conviction. Leaden footed.
I still think there was enough time after the ball had cleared players in the middle for him to have got to the ball first on the Greilish goal.
