A sad reminder of just how pointless football can be. So much hard work, toil, excitement from last season, all reduced to nothing with a season of continual embarassament. Battered every week, I can't recall them having a memorable win. They'll come down now with only the one year of parachute payments, a ridiculously overpriced squad, many of whom won't be competent for the Championship and will be hard to sell.
