Gary Monk will never be held in bad regard by the Birmingham fans. He would have inevitably have failed at some point so this way we can all dream of what could have been and give him a huge roar and revere him if/when he returns as opposition manager.

Would anyone get behind it if a Birmingham Alliance/Birmingham City AFC phoenix club was created? I know Blues fans are an apathetic bunch but it seems plenty are genuinely done with the club under this ownership.
People will still want their weekend football fix, so instead of letting the fanbase dwindle off to Moors, Bromsgrove, Alvechurch etc, why not put that same support towards Blues in a new incarnation. Today has been a very dark day for the club, like all of you I'm feeling hurt and depressed at the whole situation. The board / owners are effing idiots - that much is clear.
However, please can I urge you to stick with it and keep / renew your season tickets if that's what you were planning to do before today.
