The best sides don't seem to stack their squads with out and out centre forwards any more.

Liverpool's front 3 aren't your typical strikers at all.

Spurs only had Kane and Llorente last season, with only 1 ever starting.

Man City only really had Aguero.

And Man City have FIVE strikers in their squad.

We should not imo expect attacking midfielders like Jude to be pushed up (as I fear) into striker roles. Far from it, we should nurture Jude and allow him to blossom in his natural position.
This season is now purely about staying up (yet again) so let’s give the younger players full opportunity to blossom in their natural roles & positions. They, and we, will then benefit in the medium & longer term.
