From what I can see it seems there’s more poaching goes on than ever, inevitable I suppose. I think most kids and their parents will be desperate to get into any academy and the closer to home the better? Having said that a few years back I was watching a dazzling set of youngsters in a hall in Co Durham (they were probably around 11l and was told it was a ‘feeder’ academy for Man U, and that they had a number.

Interesting development from Thursday's EFL board meeting: many Championship clubs are keen to introduce the five substitutes rule. Will go to a vote (possibly by next week) but many in favour.

I wouldn't be surprised if Patrick Bamford became out of favour at Leeds in the summer if they stay up, as you'd imagine they may look to upgrade. He played under Karanka before and assuming we may still have some money available he may possibly be an option?
