If he doesn't have a great second round do you see him turning up tomorrow with his 48 inch driver to let it rip?

Me

Small Heath Alliance

Hello all,

I'm a long time reader, even used to contribute in the old days of planet blues and early days of this site, but due to work can't really contribute anymore, you'll be glad after this blag ha ha, but I come on every day to read posts, i'm posting because a) i'm pissed, b) i live on my own and and i bored! Favourite sitcom? (41 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

Just watching Only Fools and it still makes me laugh after that many viewings.

How about you lot?

My favourite ever is probably Peep Show, but special mention for The Inbetweeners, I'm Alan Partridge, Men Behaving Badly and Open All Hours.

Re: Jude on subs bench tonight

Small Heath Alliance

I honestly worry about some of you lot ????

Pecking order of people on the thread:
1) anyone talking about Jude
2) anyone who actually offers a half sensible and unbiased opinion
3) anyone who is proud and blatant in their bias
4) the total loonies who genuinely appear to think they are not biased then proceed to spout absolute wibble

This is terribly sad

We need more people like this, not fewer

Re: John Hays

That is awful.

I know his wife a little, she was ‘sort of’ my boss for a while. They were/are both widely admired as decent honourable people, who tried to do the best for people, respected them, and were/are widely respected in return. Quite a blow in the north east.

Re: Pulis to Sheff Wed - apparently

we are all a little bitter about the fact that he was the right man for our club, but we couldn't aford the salary of such a legend.

Instead, we got the poor mans version in karanka.

Soon be Monday.

If you had to pick an ex striker for us from the last decade that you feel would fit in well with this team, who would you pick?

Mine would be Marlon King.

Nightmare neighbours - parking problems (15 replies)

Small Heath Alliance

I was just wanting some advice on what I can and cant do in my situation.

Moved into my house and I wanted to extend the driveway to a double driveway so agreed with the neighbour what the boundary was and extended it to that but we didnt extend the dropped down kerb.

Now my neighbour has taken to parking to the edge of the drop-down which overlaps my car so I am partially blocked in.

He has been doing a number of petty things like this for quite a while and have tried to rise above it but Ive had enough now. Читать дальше...

Kyril, not Julia. Been and gone and bought Sunderland.

He's got 2 billion quid. In a trust fund. Managed by his mother. He's 22. Good on the kid. I dream that one day we'll be owned by Sullivans nipper.

Re: Peter Sutcliffe (the Yorkshire ripper)

Small Heath Alliance

I’m not a fan of the death penalty. There is just too much chance of getting it wrong.

I’d also think, luckily I haven’t been in a situation where it is someone I know has been brutally murdered, I’d rather think of the perp spending the rest of their life in a cage being denied the basics of life, being able to walk on grass, go for a pint, enjoy a moment of intimacy, miss all their family occasions, or some such. Death is an easy release.

Maybe the worst of the worst... Читать дальше...

Re: Aitor Karanka explains why he 'hated' fit-again Josh McEachran

Small Heath Alliance

I thought he looked useful in the handful of games he played for us.

You lot are either far too harsh on new players or I'm much too forgiving. I can't decide.

Anyway he is a player who absolutely can retain possession and that's something Blues seem to be forever crying out for. Big ask for him to get back to any sort decent fitness this season though.
